Remote Teaching Resources

An introduction to Zoom and Canvas for teaching courses remotely.

About This Guide

This guide provides a high-level overview of the two most user-friendly online teaching tools available to USF School of Law faculty members: Zoom and Canvas

Using one or both of these resources, faculty can teach remotely in case of an emergency. Faculty can present lecture materials through video, audio, or text, hold discussions live or via a text discussion forum, host office hours, distribute readings, collect student work, assign quizzes, and more. All you need is an internet connection and some basic hardware native to most laptops.

Use the tabs on the left to navigate this guide. The information in this guide is also available as a Google Doc (link to Remote Teaching Resources Google Doc).

Zief Librarian Help Available
