Right now, nothing can match Google Books for searching within books. Apart from Hathi Trust, these tools are geared to searching information about books, and will help you find books that broadly address topics you are researching.
Use the "Full-text Search" box on the home page. For copyright reasons, you will see only page numbers (and not matching pages) unless the book is in the public domain. The help screens include search tips.
